Michael's life as an performer began in the audience watching his family perform with their community theatre in the small town of Cleburne, Texas.

After high school, he attended Sam Houston State University where he got his B.F.A. in musical theatre.

He has performed across the nation in national tours and regional theatres in a range of shows including Jersey Boys, Rent, A Christmas Story The Musical, Ghost - The Musical and many more.
